The Razorbacks held off a spirited Dandenong Rangers to win both games. Razorbacks manager Rob Megarrity said "The two games were closer then you might expect, after Tom Fraser (Rangers) did not come to Sydney."
"On Saturday night we won 91-74 but you never felt that Dandenong were that far away." Troy Sachs led the Razorbacks with a triple-double of 31 points, 23 boards and 10 assists, ahead of Darren Skuse 27 points and 14 boards and Nick Taylor with 15 points.
Megarrity said "Sunday's game at Sutherland was a cracker, with five lead changes during the game and three-point baskets coming from four different players. We won 85-68 but didn't gain control until halfway through the third quarter. I felt our best were again Troy (Sachs), Skusey (Darren Skuse) and Nick (Taylor)."
Sachs again top-scored with 31 points and 25 boards, ahead of Skuse 31 points and 15 boards and Taylor 13 points.
The Razorbacks have a bye this weekend, before heading to South Australia for a double-header against the Adelaide Thunder on June 28-29.
