Seeing Stars
by Patricia Shepherd

For the week beginning 9 February

Full Moon at 21 degrees Leo on Tuesday 10 February at 1:49am AEDT

AQUARIUS

The opposition between your new ruler Uranus and your ancient ruler Saturn allows the opportunity to view the past and look into the future so the moment of here and now can be better lived.

PISCES

This week has the Sun conjoining Neptune so an inner journey may be taken as you sift through those thoughts and feelings that help align spiritual awareness with your solar energies.

ARIES

There is a change of pace as Mars moves from earthy Capricorn to airy Aquarius and team work may be the name of the game or feeling stifled by mundane matters has you striving for more independence.

TAURUS

You are looking for more involvement from a member of the opposite sex and this does not necessarily mean romantic. Perhaps someone is not pulling their weight and the tension is mounting.

GEMINI

The approval you are seeking may be withheld or not forthcoming. When you receive the feedback see it for the constructive criticism it is meant to be and avoid feeling as if you have been betrayed. Thin skinned.

CANCER

The Full Moon this month falls in your solar second house so you may find yourself becoming overly concerned with money and having to review your finances. Be economical but not miserly.

LEO

The drama queen comes out to play as we see this month’s Full Moon fall in Leo. Life seems to take on a dramatic quality and with increased self-confidence you radiate generosity and warmth. Avoid attention-seeking behaviour.

VIRGO

Always your own worst critic you may be anticipating being misunderstood or misrepresented and are therefore withholding your views or opinions. If you are less judgmental of self you become less judgmental of others.

LIBRA

Venus moved from watery Pisces to fiery Aries and so becomes a little more impulsive and self centred. Link that with Mars and Pluto and inhibitions tend to fly out the window and an irresistible force takes over.

SCORPIO

You may receive some well-earned recognition this week that won’t be without its drawbacks as there are some who are a little jealous of what you have achieved. Nothing that you can’t handle.

SAGITTARIUS

Contacts and connections made this week may be very advantageous as Jupiter and the fated North Node align. This allows new and stimulating arrangements to be made in an atmosphere of good fellowship.

CAPRICORN

Mercury, planet of communication, leaves your sign on Sunday and does not return till the end of the year so use this time to become conscious of an aim or objective and finding the solution to attaining it. Productive thought.

FULL MOON at 21 degrees LEO on Tuesday 10 February at 1:49am AEDT

During a Full Moon we experience the maximum of the Sun and Moons emulations and reflections. Having both electrical and magnetic fields ourselves we are also hugely affected by these energy peaks. With the night sky illuminated by the brilliance of a Full Moon we see a way forward in the dark.

An important Full Moon combining the energies of the ancient enemies Uranus (new innovations) and Saturn (maintaining the status quo), as well as Mars (motivation) Jupiter (ethics and morals). Combined with the conjunction of Chiron, the Wounded Healer to the Sun, we have the opportunity on a global and personal level to acknowledge and learn from past injustices and hurts, reconsidering our position and making the necessary modifications and adjustments.
