Seeing Stars
by Patricia Shepherd

For the week beginning 13 October

Full moon at 21 degrees Aries 51

LIBRA

You may be looking at things through rose coloured glasses as the Sun makes a stress free connection to Neptune, planet of glamour and illusion. It may be hard for you to see things from a realistic perspective this week but enjoy anyway.

SCORPIO

Venus and Mars in Scorpio ensure that life is certainly not dull in your neck of the woods. When these two pair up in your solar first house you may find yourself seriously attracted to someone of the opposite sex.

SAGITTARIUS

Working quietly behind the scenes is not normally your way of doing things but this may be what it takes to prepare yourself for an upcoming event or project. Not a time for assertive action.

CAPRICORN

Best efforts can be achieved by team or group participation this week.
By co-ordinating your needs with others a balance is found that will be far more effective and beneficial to all, rather than just yourself.

AQUARIUS

By taking a stand this week you may find yourself treading on people’s toes. This can cause quite a bit of resentment so make sure you are able to justify your actions and are not being intolerant.

PISCES

Your idealism may be standing in the way of you gaining a true picture of what is going on. This blinkered approach can hinder any understanding of the real nature of the situation in hand.

ARIES

Tomorrow’s Full Moon brings relationship issues to the fore so try not to act impulsively but rather use some foresight and follow through instead of a reckless and argumentative attitude.

TAURUS

Mars in your opposite sign of Scorpio is hot footing it through your solar seventh house adding energy and drive to your one-on-one relationships. He also ensures your relationships receive a boost of intensity if not passion.

GEMINI

Tensions at work could see you taking a defensive stance and if this is the case try and manoeuvre yourself into a position where you don’t have to work with anyone else any more than is necessary.

CANCER

The Full Moon in Aries tomorrow highlights your career area so a situation may arise that has you coming into conflict with a boss or authority figure. It may also be a parent and as you know there are two sides to everything.

LEO

You may be wanting a bit more space this week as you start to feel hemmed in or restricted. This creates tension or anxiety resulting in a ‘snappy Tom’ attitude or just plain unpredictable behaviour.

VIRGO

You may need to be a bit circumspect over the next few weeks as Mars energises your solar third house of siblings and neighbours. Difficulties or conflicts could arise here or you may find yourself working together in some productive way.

FULL MOON at 21 DEGEES ARIES 51

The Full Moon on Wednesday 15 October, at 6.03am AEST highlights not only  the polarities of  Aries and Libra but also the elements fire and air. Here we are seeking to balance personal desires with an awareness of others; of constantly trying to prove oneself with a wanting to share ideas and experiences.

As Full Moons can highlight the shadow side of a sign be on the alert for feelings of insecurity regarding your own identity, which can lead you into becoming overly involved or identified in personal relationships. There may be a tendency to look to others for affirmation or approval, becoming oversensitive to their reactions or perhaps it’s a matter of trying too hard to please.

This Full Moon makes an easy opposition to Neptune bringing in the ability to dissolve boundaries of our own making. If we have come to identify with certain parts of ourselves and certain parts of our personality and nature, at the same times as denying or splitting off from other parts of our psyche, then now is the time when we are able to see more clearly the effect this has had on us. We then can become more aware and so make conscious decisions and choices.
